ProReplicas is a manufacturer from Poland, that performs the contemporary solutions the old, iconic devices used for today in the professional audio processing. Our passion for music and performance of recordings have resulted in the desire to reconstruct those, no longer produced, devices. From the outset, the overriding aim was most faithful reconstruction the original units from those years at relatively low cost and but also without major compromises in quality. Therefore, our devices are assembled by hand and carefully checked for the expected assumptions.

  • EQP-1A

The Pultec EQP-1A is a tube program equalizer designed via Eugene Shenk in 1951 year. This equalizer is still unsurpassed device model for treatment frequency in recordings among audio engineers worldwide. All family of original EQs, was originally designed to bring back the life and musicality lost in a recording. EQP-1A has been and still is used in major recording studios because of the exceptionally natural equalisation for highest and lowest frequencies and unique sound, arising from the use in the signal path three audio transformers, coils in the filter high frequencies and the output amplifier based on two classic tubes. All this gives a very smooth, almost velvety sound.

  • LA-2A

The LA-2A Leveling Amplifier is an audio compressor invented by James F. Lawrence II, founder of the Teletronix Engineering Company in Pasadena, California in the early 1960s. This is classic opto-compressor, Which uses electro-luminescent panel and photoresistors to provide gain reduction. In the LA-2A, the above components are contained in a separate module.
